MedForce Mobile is an urgent care, physician-led clinic founded to circumvent the challenges, wait times, and excessive costs of the Emergency Room. After years of working in the ICU and ER, our founding physician realized that many people who go to the ER could be more affordably (and effectively) treated in a higher acuity Urgent Care facility.
One of the most common problems faced by the average ER patient is the underutilization of services. This is due to the high copays, deductibles, and bills incurred at the ER. The fear of added costs creates a cycle of paying thousands of dollars into an insurance program that goes underused, a problem that ultimately benefits insurance companies.
